The B.Ed. program follows the Tribhuvan University Faculty of Education structure. TU’s four-year B.Ed. is organized under the annual system and includes communication skills, professional core courses, specialization major courses, specialization minor courses, and teaching internship or practicum.
Students must complete 22 courses with a total of 2200 full marks under the TU B.Ed. structure. The curriculum includes compulsory communication courses in General Nepali and General English. Professional core courses include Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Evaluation, and an elective connected with instructional technology or ICT in education.

The TU B.Ed. curriculum requires students to study one specialization major and one specialization minor. The major and minor areas must be different. The curriculum structure includes major areas in Nepali Language Education, English Language Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, Health and Physical Education, Population Education, Geography Education, Economics Education, History Education, and Political Science Education.
The program also includes teaching internship or practicum in the fourth year. This practical component is part of the academic structure of the four-year B.Ed. annual system.
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification for admission to the four-year B.Ed. program. Some specialization areas under the TU Faculty of Education structure have subject-specific entry requirements.
