Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) is an undergraduate course in Management that provides a strong foundation in the areas of applied business. It is a 4-year course designed by Tribhuvan University to facilitate the combination of practical work experience and academic knowledge.

The BBS program combines the elements of organizational studies, accountancy, finance, business management, and marketing. The objective of this course is to train students to become competent managers with critical, analytical, and innovative decision-making abilities.

The course structure of BBS is divided into four years. In the first year, students are taught the foundation of business concepts, theories, and practices. In the second year, basic concepts, tools, and understanding of the core and foundation subjects are emphasized. The third-year program incorporates the basic concepts, tools, and fundamentals of business studies. The final fourth-year emphasizes the functional and concentration area.

The minimum requirement for enrolling in a 4-year BBS program is completing 10+2 in science/management or equivalent. Students besides the management faculty must have studied Mathematics or Economics as a full paper in 10+2 or equivalent. Applicants must have studied English as a full paper at the intermediate level and submit their transcripts, academic mark sheets, character certificate, and migration certificate.

The grading system in the annual examinations for BBS is based on four divisions - Distinction, First Division, Second Division, and Third Division. Students who score 75 percent and above are awarded Distinction, and those who score between 60 and 75 percent are awarded First Division. Similarly, those who score between 45 and 60 percent and 35 and 45 percent are awarded Second Division and Third Division, respectively.

Students seeking to educate themselves in professional competency courses can also attain their graduation program without any hindrance.
