New Summit College (NSC) is one of the best private colleges in Kathmandu, specializing in Management, Science, and Information Technology streams of studies. Program Objectives of BSc CSIT
The primary mission of the BSc CSIT course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a career in the field of information technology. Admission Policy of BSc CSIT:
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for admission into BSc CSIT at New Summit College, Shantinagar, Kathmandu (affiliated with Tribhuvan University), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed +2 or equivalent in science with physics and mathematics, with a full marks certificate level of 100-100.
- Must have scored at least a C grade in all subjects or a second division.
- A Level candidates must have taken science streams with physics and mathematics of 100-100 marks, with a minimum of a D grade in each subject.
- CTEVT candidates with a diploma must have taken physics and mathematics of 100-100 marks and passed with a second division.
- Applicants from foreign universities must have an equivalence certificate of the respective level from the Curriculum Development Center.
ENTRANCE:
All applicants must pass the entrance test conducted by the university.
INTERVIEW:
All successful candidates of the written entrance test will be called for an interview with their parents or guardians.
FINAL RESULT:
The final result of successful candidates for admission will be published based on the intermediate/+2 grades, TU entrance test score, and interview on the day of the interview.
