Overview
Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Sankhuwasabha Multiple Campus
The BA at Sankhuwasabha Multiple Campus is designed for students who want to study society, language, culture, and human experience through a structured program under Tribhuvan University. The BA currently has 16 students and runs with small class sizes, allowing closer interaction with faculty.
The campus serves learners from Chainpur and nearby rural areas who require an accessible program with reliable teaching and support services.
The curriculum follows TU guidelines and promotes analytical reading, clear writing, and careful use of evidence. Faculty teach with a mix of lectures, guided readings, short essays, and presentations. Audio/visual aids are used to explain concepts, share sample analyses, and review model answers.
Students access the e-library for reference books, articles, and past exam questions; the counseling desk helps with course planning and exam preparation. The campus schedules periodic workshops on citation, note-taking, and answer structuring so students can steadily improve their writing.
The BA offers combinations that the campus announces each intake based on faculty availability and TU prescriptions. Students receive guidance during admission to select subject sets that match their goals. Regular attendance and participation are emphasized; short assignments and class tests help students keep pace before TU examinations. Where needed, lecturers arrange extra sessions near exam time to review question patterns, common mistakes, and marking approaches used in previous years.
Admission & Eligibility
Applicants must have D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12 (as per TU rules). The admission desk supports applicants with document checks, subject selection, and scholarship queries.
The campus acknowledges that BA admissions have been lower than expected and addresses this by community outreach, parent-student counseling, and sharing clear guidance on study paths after BA, including teaching, social work, local administration support roles, and further study options.
Learning environment
Classrooms are equipped with audio/visual tools; power backup supports continuity during outages. The canteen provides basic meals, and sports/ECAs are available to maintain balance during the academic year. Faculty promote respectful discussion, careful referencing, and ethical academic practice.
Students learn to read closely, write with structure, and present ideas clearly—skills that transfer to many types of work and further study.
The BA at Sankhuwasabha Multiple Campus offers a stable setting to develop strong academic habits and complete a recognized TU degree within the local community.
