The Pre-Diploma in Livestock Production and Animal Health at Saptashree Multiple Technical Institute, Birtamode, is a technical program affiliated with CTEVT. With an 18-month duration and 40 seats, this course prepares SEE graduates for field-based animal health support roles across Nepal. Admission is based on the CTEVT entrance examination, and full scholarships are offered to eligible students based on exam performance.
This program includes modules on animal anatomy, livestock management, veterinary first aid, disease prevention, and practical skills such as vaccination, deworming, and basic surgery support. Students also study feed management, breeding practices, and livestock record-keeping.
To prepare skilled livestock technicians for rural and urban veterinary services
To train students in practical animal health and husbandry practices
To support Nepal’s agricultural economy through technical manpower
Graduates can work as Junior Livestock Technicians, assistants in veterinary clinics, or in NGOs working in rural livestock development. There is also scope for self-employment in small-scale animal husbandry and poultry farming.

Full scholarships are granted to students based on their CTEVT entrance merit. Students from underrepresented regions or disadvantaged backgrounds may also be eligible for financial support based on CTEVT rules.
