Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

B.Ed. at Siddhanath Campus, Bhangaha, Mahottari

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program at Siddhanath Campus is offered at Sitapur Bazaar, Bhangaha Municipality-5, Mahottari, under the affiliation of Purbanchal University. The community campus began operation in 2025 AD (2082 BS) with the aim of making bachelor-level education more accessible to students from Bhangaha and its surrounding settlements.

The campus offers B.Ed. studies in English, Nepali and Health subjects, with 60 seats available in the program.

B.Ed. Program at Siddhanath Campus

The B.Ed. program forms the main academic offering of Siddhanath Campus. Its location in Sitapur Bazaar gives students from Bhangaha Municipality an opportunity to continue higher education within their local area rather than depending entirely on institutions outside the municipality.

Bhangaha Municipality consists of nine wards and more than 40 settlements. The campus was established with particular attention to students whose access to higher education has been affected by economic and geographical conditions. The surrounding area includes Tharu, Danuwar, Bantar, Musahar, Kapar, Chamar, Dhanuk and Muslim communities.

The establishment of the campus also creates a local bachelor-level option for students who have completed Grade 12. Female students make up a higher proportion of the initial enrollment.
