The Health Assistant (HA) program at Siddhartha Training Center is a three-year, full-time Certificate Level course affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
It is designed to produce skilled mid-level health professionals capable of providing preventive, promotive, and curative health services.
Recognized by the Nepal Health Professional Council, the program ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure necessary for professional healthcare practice in Nepal.

The curriculum is based on CTEVT guidelines and includes:
Basic Science: Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology
Clinical Science: Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology
Community Health: Public Health, Epidemiology, Environmental Health
Practical Training: Clinical practice in affiliated hospitals and community fieldwork

To minimize the gap in rural healthcare by deploying qualified HAs at the grassroots level.
Graduates of the HA program can work in:
Government hospitals, health posts, and primary health centers
Private clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals
Community-based health programs and NGOs/INGOs
Opportunities for further studies in MBBS, BPH, BN, or related health sciences
Upon completion, students will be able to:

Academic Qualification: SEE or equivalent with minimum GPA as per CTEVT guidelines
Entrance Exam: Must pass the CTEVT entrance examination for HA program
Selection: Based on merit list and allocated quotas (Full Fee, Scholarship, District Quota, etc.)
Graduates can serve as mid-level healthcare workers in Nepal and abroad. Many pursue higher education such as MBBS, BPH, BN, or other paramedical and public health programs. Employment opportunities are strong in rural health posts, hospitals, and NGOs.
