The BBS curriculum is structured across four academic years. It includes foundation courses, core business studies, concentration courses, Business Research Methods, and Final Project.

Applicants must have successfully completed 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, Tribhuvan University, or another university or board recognized by TU.

BBS follows the annual examination system. Final evaluation is conducted through the annual examination of Tribhuvan University through the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
Students must have at least 70 percent attendance in the classes held to qualify for the annual examination. Students must also pass theoretical, practical, and project-work components separately where such components apply.
