Janashikha Campus (जनशिखा क्याम्पस) is a community campus in Mellekh, Achham, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. Established in 2013 AD, the campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC Nepal).

Institutional Background
Janashikha Campus was established as a community campus to expand access to bachelor-level education in Mellekh, Achham. Academic Programs
Janashikha Campus offers two TU-affiliated bachelor’s degree programs:

Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
The BBS program is a four-year annual-system program under the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. Its curriculum includes foundation areas of business, core business studies, concentration courses, business research, and final project work.
The program covers areas such as business English, statistics, economics, accounting, management, business law, communication, financial management, marketing, taxation, entrepreneurship, and research methods. In the fourth year, students study concentration courses from functional areas such as Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing, along with Business Research Methods and Final Project.
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, Tribhuvan University, or another university/board recognized by TU. Applicants must also satisfy other entry requirements prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus.
Academic Requirements: The BBS annual structure includes a minimum of 150 teaching days in an academic year, 615 instructional hours, and a minimum of five class periods each teaching day. Final evaluation is conducted through the annual examination system of Tribhuvan University.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
The B.Ed. program is a four-year annual-system program under the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University. It is an academic and professional program designed for preparing teachers who can teach two subjects at the secondary level.
The B.Ed. structure includes Communication Skills, Professional Core Areas, Specialization Major Courses, Specialization Minor Courses, and Teaching Internship/Practicum. Students must complete 22 courses with a total of 2200 full marks.
Major specialization areas include Nepali Language Education, English Language Education, Math Education, Science Education, Health and Physical Education, Population Education, Geography Education, Economics Education, History Education, and Political Science Education. Minor specialization areas must be different from the major specialization.
Eligibility: Students with Higher Secondary Education Examination Pass Certificate, Proficiency Certificate Level of Tribhuvan University, or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program. Specific major subject areas may require subject-related qualifications.
Admission and Examination Context
Admission to TU bachelor-level programs follows the regulations of the respective faculty, Dean’s Office, and campus. Eligible applicants submit the prescribed application form and required academic documents after the admission notice is published. The selection process may include an entrance examination, merit-based selection, or both, depending on program or campus policy.
Academic registration, course curriculum, examinations, and results follow TU rules, guidelines, and the applicable academic calendar. For annual-system programs, final examinations are conducted by TU through the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
Student Support and Local Access
Janashikha Campus provides scholarship facilities for economically and socially backward students. It also offers low-fee education for local citizens who may not have sufficient income to study at the graduate level.
