DAV College Concludes Seventh Inter-College 6A-Side Futsal Tournament

Kathmandu, Magh 19, 2082 — With the aim of developing discipline among students through sports and preparing talented football players, DAV College has concluded its seventh DAV Inter-College 6A-side futsal tournament.
The tournament was formally inaugurated on Magh 16, 2082 in the presence of the institution’s Chairperson Anil Kedia.
The tournament was held on the college’s own futsal ground with participation from 40 colleges.
It was jointly inaugurated by Anil Kedia, Chairperson of the Kedia Foundation, as the chief guest, along with Dr. Swagat Shrestha, Senior Vice-President of the HISSAN Center, as a main guest, and Suman Basnet, Principal of DAV Plus Two (NEB) College and a central member of HISSAN, as a main guest.
The inauguration program was attended by Mahesh Girahiya, Founder of Shiv Shakti Edu Mart Pvt. Ltd., and representatives of Sumeru City Hospital.
Principal Suman Basnet claimed that the three-day tournament was the competition with the largest cash prize amount.
The winning teams were awarded jointly by Anil Kedia, Chairperson of the Kedia Foundation, Suman Basnet, Principal of the college, and Mahesh Girahiya, Founder of Shiv Shakti Edu Mart Pvt. Ltd.
