Nai Academy to Host Nepal–India University Professors Conference

Nai Academy has announced that it will organize the “Nepal–India University Professors Conference” in Kathmandu on Chaitra 27, 28, and 29.

According to Narendra Raj Prasai, Member Secretary of the Academy, the conference will feature document presentations by 28 scholars from universities of both countries where Nepali language and literature are taught and researched up to the PhD level.

The Academy is set to hold the three-day “Nepal–India University Professors Conference” under the highest academic leadership of eminent critic Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi.

About Nai Academy

Nai Academy was established on Magh 15, 2052 with the objective of contributing to the growth and enrichment of Nepali literature. The institution received formal government recognition on Baisakh 17, 2055.

The literary, cultural, and social institution named “Nai Prakashan” was founded by combining the initial letters of the names of its two founders, Narendra Raj Prasai and Indira Prasai, and it came to be known as Nai Academy.

Nai Academy is described as a shared platform for lovers of Nepali literature. The institution is guided by the ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” and has consistently upheld traditional cultural values, beliefs, and practices.

Honoring talent from Nepal and beyond is stated as another major objective of the institution.

The Academy has also been active in embracing Nepali values, traditions, and culture, while presenting the creative skills of Nepali talents in a refined and tasteful manner.
