NATHM Calls Applications for Trekking Guide Training

Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), Ravibhawan, Kathmandu, under the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has invited applications for the Trekking Guide training. The Academy has called for applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the training program, which will begin from Baisakh 2083 (mid-April to mid-May 2026).
Training Details
According to the notice, a total of 300 seats have been announced for the 5-week Trekking Guide training.
To participate in this training, applicants must have passed Grade 12 or an equivalent level. Alternatively, candidates who have passed SEE or an equivalent examination and have 2 years of work experience in a registered trekking agency may also apply.
The training fee has been fixed at Rs. 7,000. The selection process will be conducted through an interview.
Interested candidates must complete and submit the application form by April 2, 2026 (2082/12/20 BS). Candidates who fill out the form must contact the Academy on April 4, 2026 (2082/12/22 BS) after 2:00 PM for the interview and further process.

Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application form:

2 copies of a recently taken passport-size photograph

Copy of citizenship certificate

Copies of academic qualification certificates

Copies of experience certificates
For candidates submitting certificates issued by foreign universities, an equivalency certificate must also be submitted.
Fee and Payment Details
The application form fee has been fixed at Rs. 500.
The fee may be deposited at any branch of Citizens Bank International Limited in the current account of Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management, Account No. 0110100000036201, Account Name: NEPAL ACADEMY OF TOURISMandHOTEL MGMT.
The fee may also be deposited at the Extension Counter within the Academy premises or by scanning the QR code provided with the notice. The payment voucher or receipt must be attached to the application form at the time of submission.
