Nepal Bhasha Journal release and awards
On Wednesday, the Nepal Bhasha Central Department made public the “Nepal Bhasha Journal” and also conferred various awards. Language Commission member Suresh Kiran Manandhar, head of the Central Department Dr. Rajanlal Joshi, outgoing head Prof. Dr. Omkareshwor Shrestha and head of Patan Compus Dr. Raghuvir Bista jointly launched the collection of research-based articles “Nepal Bhasha Journal”.
Awards and honors
On the same occasion, various awards and Tribhuvan University scholarship awards were also distributed. Similarly, the Nepal Bhasha Central Department also honored Associate Professor Sharadbir Kansakar and Accounts Officer Deepak Sanjel.
Academic medals and research awards

Rameshwar Shrestha, who placed first at the master’s level in Nepal Bhasha, received the Piyush Medal and the Shrestha Medal.

The second-place student Nitu Dangol and third-place student Hasana Maharjan were also awarded the Shrestha Medal.

The Satyahera Research Sirpa, given to the student who prepares an outstanding research thesis, was received by Panchalal Maharjan.

Another student, Puja Manandhar, whose research thesis was outstanding, was honored by the Yogbirsingh Research Fellowship.
Scholarships

The Pushpadevi Scholarship, established by chief guest and social worker Panchbirsingh Tuladhar for female students, was awarded to Nanihara Shakya, Bildevi Maharjan, Nita Tuladhar and Pramila Maharjan.

The Tribhuvan University scholarship was received by Sujana Maharjan, Maheshwari Maharjan, Samasti Shakya, and Ramji Balami.

Similarly, the Krishnadevi Harigopal Khayarguli Scholarship was awarded to Gyanram Shrestha.
Remarks from dignitaries
Language Commission member Manandhar said that it is necessary for the Nepal Bhasha Central Department to produce the qualified and skilled human resources required for the Government of Nepal.
Likewise, Patan Campus head Dr. Bista said that having the Nepal Bhasha Central Department located within the premises of Patan Campus is a great opportunity and honor.
He expressed the view that the Central Department has been playing an important role in the advancement of history, literature, language, culture and identity.
Similarly, head of the Central Department Dr. Joshi thanked the award donors and congratulated the outstanding students who received the awards.
