Sajilal Secondary School Concludes 60th Anniversary and Parents’ Day

Sundarharaicha: The 60th anniversary and Parents’ Day ceremony of Sajilal Secondary School, located in Sundarharaicha-6, Morang, concluded with various programs.

A special closing ceremony was organized on the final day of the four-day anniversary program, with Mayor Kedar Prasad Guragain as the Chief Guest.

Inter-Community Secondary School Quiz Competition Held

On the occasion of the anniversary, a municipal-level inter-community secondary school quiz competition was held under the Tikaram–Shadanand Dahal Memorial Endowment Fund.

In the competition held in the Gachhiya Block, the host Sajilal Secondary School secured first place. Sukuna Secondary School finished second, while Janata Secondary School, Budhabare, secured third place.

Principal Shyam Babu Kafle said such competitions help develop students’ academic knowledge, confidence, and competitive spirit. He added that various internal sports events were also conducted during the four-day anniversary campaign.

Teachers, Staff, and Contributors Honored

Outstanding teachers and staff members were honored during the program.

From the Teacher Incentive Endowment Fund, teacher Chudamani Dulal was honored. From the school, staff member Rohit Bahadur Bik was honored, and Jayaram Rajbanshi was honored under the extracurricular activities category.

Special honors were also presented to individuals who contributed to the school’s development, including:

  • Former student Bhakti Prasad Sitaula

  • Sobhitalal Chaudhary

  • Former teacher Shivnarayan Chaudhary

Scholarships and Awards for Students

On the same occasion, scholarships from endowment funds were distributed to deserving students, along with awards in various categories.

Mayor’s Remarks and Program Attendance

Sundarharaicha Mayor Kedar Prasad Guragain praised Sajilal Secondary School’s contribution to education in the area.

Stating that practical and quality education is the need of the day, he emphasized that the teaching-learning process should be free from fear.

The program was chaired by School Management Committee Chairperson Gyanendra Ojha and witnessed a large presence of local representatives, education supporters, and parents.
