Second Chaitanya Student Festival Starts in Dhangadhi
The second Chaitanya Student Festival has started today in Dhangadhi, Kailali. Chaitanya Pathshala in Dhangadhi is organizing the festival.
The festival was inaugurated by Sudurpashchim Province Chief Nazir Miya. On the occasion, he stated that teachers have an important role in the country’s development. He said it is in the hands of teachers what kind of human resources the country will receive.
“Students are like raw clay. It is in the hands of teachers what they will be shaped into,” he said.
Focus on Value-Based and Technical Education
Province Chief Miya praised Chaitanya Pathshala for providing education with values and urged that students should also be given technical education.
At the program, Provincial Assembly Member Dharmaraj Pathak pointed out that all schools should emphasize helping students understand factual matters. He also stated that development would happen faster if Eastern culture is advanced by linking it with science.
Purpose and Goals of the Festival
Chaitanya Pathshala in Dhangadhi has organized the Chaitanya Student Festival for the second time with the aim of bringing out students’ inherent talents and developing creativity, leadership ability, social awareness, an exploratory mindset, and self-confidence.
According to the school’s Executive Chief Ganesh Prasad Joshi, the festival aims to identify, develop, and encourage students’ inherent talents, and to build intellectual, creative, cultural, and practical skills. He said the festival helps students build self-confidence, leadership ability, and improve public expression.
Honors and Duration
On the occasion of the festival inauguration, individuals who have contributed in various fields were honored.
It has been stated that the Student Festival will continue until Poush 29.
