Xavier’s English School Celebrates 11th Anniversary and Parents’ Day

Xavier’s English School, located in Budhiganga Rural Municipality-2, Morang, has celebrated its 11th anniversary and Parents’ Day.
The anniversary and Parents’ Day program was held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 [2082 Magh 24, BS]. On the occasion, the school honored students who achieved the best results within the rural municipality in the Budhiganga Rural Municipality-level examination, the SEE, and HISSAN’s annual examination.
Honored Students by Category
In the Grade 8 rural municipality-level examination, Ankit Karki Chhetri was recognized as best among boys, while Ritu Magar was recognized as best among girls.
In the SEE, Bijay Poudel was recognized as best among boys, and Anjali Das was recognized as best among girls.
In the HISSAN examination, Lalita Rajbanshi was recognized as best among girls, and Rohan Dahal was recognized as best among boys.
Awards Presented by Local and Education Leaders
The school stated that the top students were awarded by Budhiganga Rural Municipality Chairperson Jeet Narayan Thapa Magar, the school’s principal Paresh Pokharel, and PABSON Morang Chairperson Jagat Basnet, among others.
Special Honors for Sports Achievements
On the same occasion, Premisha Shrestha, a Grade 12 student who won a silver medal for Nepal in the Second Shooting Ball World Cup competition, was also honored.
Pushparaj Yokpangden, who delivered an outstanding performance in karate at the President’s Sports Competition 2081, was also honored.
Remarks From Speakers
Budhiganga Rural Municipality Chairperson Jeet Narayan Thapa Magar said that education within the rural municipality has improved.
PABSON Morang Chairperson Jagat Bahadur Basnet said the school has succeeded in achieving important accomplishments by providing quality education in a short time since its establishment.
Principal Paresh Pokharel stated that the school is providing excellent education and claimed that students do not need to leave Budhiganga to study from Nursery to Grade 12.
School Chairperson Sarita Kumari Rana Magar said the school is working day and night to ensure quality education.
Cultural Presentations and Enrollment
Students presented performances including dance and singing in various categories. The school stated that 950 students are currently studying at Xavier’s English School from Nursery to Grade 12.
