CTEVT Diploma Chance Exam Center and Date Notice
The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published an extremely urgent notice regarding the designation of the examination center for the diploma/certificate level one-subject chance examination.
This examination is being conducted on the basis of the earlier notice published on January 26, 2026 (2082-10-13 BS).
Eligible Examinees
Semester System
According to the notice, examinees from all engineering programs under the diploma/certificate level semester examination system, as well as Information Technology, Food and Dairy Technology, Social Works, Hotel Management, Agriculture (Crop Science and Animal Science), and the Special Scholarship Program in Technical Education, are eligible to appear in this chance examination.
For eligibility, by the date of publication of this notice, the examinee must have passed from the first year first semester up to the third year first semester and must have failed in only one theoretical subject in the third year second semester.
Annual System
Likewise, under the annual examination system, all examinees from all programs, including the Special Scholarship Program in Technical Education, are eligible to appear in the examination if, by the date of publication of this notice, they have passed the first and second years and have failed in only one subject in the regular third-year result.
Provision has been made to conduct the one-subject theoretical chance examination in accordance with the Examination Regulations, 2014 (2071 BS).
Exam Center and Schedule
As per the notice, the examination for all programs under the semester examination system will be held on April 4, 2026 (2082-12-21 BS), Saturday, from 7:00 AM.
Similarly, the examination for all programs under the annual examination system will be held on April 4, 2026 (2082-12-21 BS), Saturday, from 1:00 PM.
For both systems, Balaju School of Engineering and Technology (BSET), Balaju, Kathmandu, has been designated as the examination center.
