Public Service Commission Establishes New Examination Centers of Dang for Section Officer

The Central Office of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Dang Office, has announced the establishment of stage one examination centers for candidates pursuing Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical), Section Officer (Sakha Adhikrit), or similar roles under Advertisement No. 16699-16705/079-80 (Open/Inclusive).

Important Instructions for Aspiring Public Service Candidates

Aspiring public service candidates should be aware of the following guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process:

  • Examination Schedule: Candidates should refer to the already published schedule. The examination will proceed as planned, irrespective of unexpected holidays.
  • Admit Card: Entry without an admit card is strictly prohibited.
  • Arrival Time: Candidates should aim to arrive at the examination center a minimum of one hour prior to the examination.
  • Prohibited Items: Mobile phones and calculators are strictly forbidden inside the exam hall. The only permitted writing instrument is a black ink pen; lead pens are not allowed.
  • Required Documents: Candidates must carry their Nepali citizenship certificate or any other government-issued photo ID.

Special Instructions for the Transition Period

During the transition period, additional safety protocols have been implemented:

  • Face Masks: Candidates must wear face masks to gain entry into the examination center. It is also mandatory to bring personal sanitizers and drinking water.
  • Social Distancing: A minimum physical distance of two meters must be maintained at all times.
  • Compliance with Staff: Instructions provided by examination staff should be adhered to without exceptions.

Arrangements for Covid-19 Positive Candidates

Special arrangements will be made for candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19, with separate examination centers established. Candidates in such situations should notify the office by:

  • Application for Assistant Writers: Candidates requiring assistant writers should submit an application to the office at least 10 days before the exam begins, providing valid reasons and proof for their request, in accordance with Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079.

The Central Office of the Public Service Commission underscores the importance of these guidelines and expects candidates to strictly follow them to ensure a safe, efficient, and uninterrupted examination process.
