Key Guidelines for Public Service Aspirants

Candidates keen on these public service roles should be familiar with the following directives:

  • Examination Schedule: Aspirants should refer back to the previously published schedule. The exam will proceed as expected, regardless of unforeseen holidays.
  • Admit Card Requirement: Entry is strictly prohibited without an admit card.
  • Arrival Time: Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least one hour prior to the examination.
  • Prohibited Items: Mobile phones and calculators are forbidden inside the exam hall. Only black ink pens are permitted, whereas lead pens are not.
  • Necessary Documents: Candidates are required to bring their Nepali citizenship certificate or any other government-issued photo ID.

Special Instructions Amid Transition Period

During the ongoing transition phase, additional safety measures have been implemented:

  • Face Masks: These are essential for entry into the examination center. Candidates should also carry their own sanitizers and drinking water.
  • Social Distancing: A physical gap of two meters is mandatory at all times.
  • Obedience to Staff: Instructions given by the examination staff are to be strictly followed.

Special Provisions for Covid-19 Positive Candidates

Separate examination centers will be allocated for candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19. These candidates must inform the office about their health status in advance.

In accordance with Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079, candidates requiring assistant writers are required to apply to the office at least 10 days prior to the exam commencement, providing valid reasons and proof for their request.
