Key Examination Guidelines
To ensure a seamless examination experience, the NEB has laid out specific guidelines:
- Arrival Time: Arrive at your examination center 30 minutes early. Late arrivals, beyond 15 minutes after the exam start time, will not be permitted to enter.
- No Make-up Exams: Missing an exam? There are no make-up dates. Stick to the schedule.
- Emergency Policies: Exams will proceed as planned unless an emergency announcement is made.
- Essential Materials: Don’t forget to bring necessary items like graph paper, charts, and log tables.
- Biology Exams: Biology students must use a single answer sheet for both Botany and Zoology.
- Fixed Examination Centers: Your examination center is final. No changes are allowed.
- Electronic Device Ban: Leave your mobile phones and smartwatches at home. They’re not allowed.
- Subject Overlaps: Report any subject overlaps to the NEB office within 15 days of this notice.
- Syllabus Adherence: Students are divided by registration numbers for the new versus old syllabus adherence. Make sure you know which one applies to you.
- Technical Stream Specifications: Technical stream students have specific guidelines based on their registration numbers.
- Updated Mathematics Syllabus: Note the updates to the compulsory and optional mathematics syllabi and prepare accordingly.
