Class 12 Chance Supplementary Exam to Be Held on Shrawan 2 and 3; Application Form Open
The National Examination Board (NEB), Office of the Controller of Examinations (Class 11 and 12), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued a notice regarding the examination schedule and application form for the Class 12 chance supplementary examination. According to the notice published by the Controller of Examinations on 2083/03/05, the chance examination will be conducted on Saturday, Shrawan 2, 2083, and Sunday, Shrawan 3, 2083.
Eligibility and Criteria
Only the following examinees who participated as regular examinees in the Class 12 annual examination conducted in Baisakh 2083, with registration numbers beginning with the first two digits 82, will be allowed to appear in this examination:

Examinees who obtained a minimum grade of D or above in other theoretical subjects and received NG (Not Graded) in the remaining two subjects.

Examinees who obtained a grade of D or above in other theoretical subjects and were absent in a maximum of two remaining subjects.

Examinees who obtained a grade of D or above in other theoretical subjects and received NG (Not Graded) in any one subject or were absent in any one subject.
Examination Time and Schedule
The examination will be conducted from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The detailed examination schedule fixed by the Board is as follows:

Compulsory English (0041).

All subjects for examinees appearing in only one subject.

For examinees appearing in two subjects, the subject with the lower code number among the subjects they are taking. However, examinees appearing in the chance supplementary examination for both Compulsory English and Compulsory Nepali must take Compulsory English (0041) on the first day and Compulsory Nepali (0021) on the second day.

For examinees appearing in two subjects, the subject with the higher code number among the subjects they are taking. The examination for Compulsory English (0041) will not be conducted on this day.
Application Form and Fee Arrangements
Students who wish to appear in the chance examination must submit their applications within the following process and deadline:

Examinees must deposit the examination fee at the rate of Rs. 800 per student into the account of the concerned office of the Board by Ashar 19, 2083.

Examinees who miss the deadline for depositing the amount within the stated period must deposit Rs. 1,600 per student, including the late fee, by Ashar 26, 2083.

Applications must be submitted through the concerned school to the concerned offices of the Board by office hours on Ashar 28, 2083, along with the voucher showing the deposited amount or proof of online payment.
Other Important Rules for Examinees
The Board has also published various conditions and rules to make the examination systematic:

The chance supplementary examination will be conducted for only two days. Examinees appearing in only one subject must appear on the first day of the examination, i.e., 2083/04/02, regardless of the subject.

The examination of examinees appearing in Compulsory English (0041) will be conducted only on the first day.

Examinees appearing in two subjects must take the subject with the lower code number on the first day. However, in the case of examinees appearing in both Compulsory Nepali (0021) and Compulsory English (0041), even though the lower code is 0021, they must take the examination of subject 0041 on the first day.

No further arrangement will be made for examinees who remain absent from the examination as per the prescribed examination schedule.

Examinees must bring the materials required for the examination, such as graph paper, charts, log tables, general vouchers, and similar items, by themselves.

Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and other electronic devices are prohibited inside the examination hall. If any examinee is found carrying the above-mentioned items in violation of the notice, the examination will be cancelled.

Examinees must compulsorily reach the examination center and enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the examination starts.

Examinees must take the examination only from the assigned examination center, and the examination center cannot be changed. A notice regarding the determination of examination centers will be published later.
The Board has requested its concerned offices to carry out the necessary work in accordance with this notice.
