SEE Grade 10 Exam Form Fill-Up Notice 2082

Government of Nepal, National Examinations Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Notice regarding filling and submitting the examination application form to participate in the Secondary Education Examination Grade 10 (SEE) to be conducted in 2082.

Students who are regularly studying in Grade 10 in academic session 2082 (including those in open and alternative schools at the secondary level, non-formal adult schools, and technical stream schools) must fill and submit the examination application form from 2082 Kartik 17 to 2082 Mangsir 16 with an examination fee of Rs. 500 (five hundred) per candidate.

This notice is published for the information of all concerned Education Development Directorates, Education Development and Coordination Units, local-level education branches/divisions, schools, and students.

Instructions

1. For students currently studying in Grade 10 in general, traditional, and technical streams:

Students currently enrolled as regular Grade 10 candidates must submit the application form to the concerned school with the examination fee by attaching the following, with two recently taken passport-size photographs affixed in the specified place and certified by the principal:

(a) Copy of the registration stub

(b) Copy of the certificate showing completion of the basic level (Grade 8) in academic session 2080 or earlier

(c) Copy of the birth registration certificate certified by the principal

2. For students studying in open, alternative, and non-formal adult schools:

(a) As per the Distance/Open Learning Program Operating Directive (with amendments), 2063, clauses 15 and 17, attach documents certified by the principal confirming enrollment and fulfillment of all conditions set by the directive. Affix two recently taken passport-size photographs in the specified place, fill the form, and submit it to the concerned school with the examination fee.

Open/alternative stream students must, as per the directive, enroll and study in the Grade 9 and 10 program after two years from passing Grade 8 or equivalent basic level (verification to be done by the issuing body after publication of this notice) and submit a copy of the birth registration certificate (reaching 16 years of age by the end of Chaitra of the year of admission) certified by the principal.

Regarding non-formal adult or open/alternative schools, the coordination unit must verify, by checking the school’s permission letter and other documents, whether the student is as per the directive.

(b) Students studying in non-formal adult schools must attach documents certified by the concerned principal, along with a recommendation that all conditions set by the Non-Formal Schools for Adults Operating Directive, 2065, have been fulfilled; affix two passport-size photographs in the specified place; fill the form; and submit it to the concerned school with the examination fee.

3. To be included in the Secondary Education Examination of 2082, the candidate must have completed 14 years of age by the end of Chaitra 2082.

4. Schools must verify, for forms filled under points 1 and 2, whether the student’s name, surname, date of birth, and subjects to be taken are correctly entered, certify them so that they will not change in the future, arrange the forms in ascending English alphabetical order, check that the serial order of the forms matches, attach the voucher or cash receipt for the examination fee revenue, and submit the forms to the Education Development and Coordination Unit by 2082 Mangsir 21.

5. The last date for Education Development and Coordination Units to deposit the examination fee revenue in the bank is fixed as 2082 Mangsir 22. Revenue Head No.: 14224.

6. Education Development and Coordination Units must enter the received application forms into the computer, verify them, and send the electronic copy to the National Examinations Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10, and to the concerned Education Development Directorate by the end of Poush 2082.

7. In coordination with the National Examinations Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10, and the concerned Education Development Directorate, the Education Development and Coordination Units must maintain the eight-digit registration symbol number with alphabet and make admit cards available.

In coordination with the concerned Education Development Directorate, the Education Development and Coordination Units must determine the examination centers, have them decided by the District Education Development and Coordination Committee, and the Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10 and the concerned Education Development Directorate must compulsorily finalize the examination centers by 2082 Magh 7 and send them to the District Education Development Directorate. 

When determining centers, schools in the technical stream must be given priority. While determining centers, per-center student counts must be as follows: at least 150 in remote/Himalayan areas; at least 250 in hill areas; and from more than 300 up to 400 in the Terai, Inner Madhesh, and the Valley.

Based on the number of grade-improvement and technical-stream candidates, centers must be located at the district headquarters or, if more than one, at convenient locations.

8. Keep the approved form’s record copy (Office Copy) safely so it can be presented when requested by the National Examinations Board. The Education Development and Coordination Unit must assign symbol numbers on the admit card (Student Copy) and distribute it through the school so that the concerned student receives it at the time of the examination.

9. A student must fill the application form only from the school where they have studied regularly. If forms are filled from more than one school or location, both sets of forms will be canceled. For students who transfer into Grade 10 from other schools or districts, act as per the amended Education Regulations, keep separate records of such students, and send them to the Office of the Controller of Examinations Grade 10 and the concerned Education Development Directorate.

10. Students who do not fill the application form within the stipulated time will not be allowed to participate in SEE 2082. Schools must ensure that all students fill the forms on time.

10. Schools must submit documents, including practical marks, tables, and other details, to the Education Development and Coordination Unit by the end of Magh 2082. The unit must send the revenue details, details of ineligible students, and students’ practical marks to the Office of the Controller of Examinations by 2082 Falgun 7 mandatorily.

When sending revenue details, prepare and send a statement arranged in ascending order of school codes, clearly showing the number of students per school and the amount of revenue submitted by each school.

11. Open, alternative, and non-formal adult schools must submit the registration together with the application.

12. Grade-improvement candidates (general, traditional, technical, open and alternative, and non-formal adult schools):

(a) Candidates who participated in the regular or grade-improvement examination of 2079 and obtained D or E grade in any subjects, or were absent, must fill the application form only for those subjects for grade improvement.

Candidates of the regular or grade-improvement (supplementary) examination of 2080 must fill the application form for grade improvement only for the subjects in which NG was received or in which they were absent. 

13. When filling the application form, the candidate must fill from the school where they studied regularly. Other schools are not allowed to fill the application forms of students who studied in another school; if a form is filled from another school, it will be automatically canceled. Such candidates must affix two recently taken passport-size photographs and submit the form to the concerned school with the following documents and the examination fee.

(b) Copy of the registration slip

(c) Copy of the grade sheet

(d) Grade-improvement candidates must use the yellow-colored form only.

14. The concerned Education Development Directorates must make arrangements to facilitate the Education Development and Coordination Units under their jurisdiction in tasks such as filling student examination application forms and determining examination centers as per this notice.
