Mechi Eye Hospital

Mechi Eye Hospital, established on November 15, 1996, has become a cornerstone in providing exceptional eye care services, It is located in Birtamode-3, Jhapa, Nepal. As a not-for-profit tertiary eye hospital, it boasts 220 beds and operates under the Mechi Eye Care Program. Supported by the Eye Care Foundation, the Netherlands, Mechi Eye Hospital has made significant strides in offering equitable, accessible, and affordable eye care, thereby reducing avoidable blindness and contributing to sustainable development goals.
