Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittyasanstha Limited (SKBLBL) ( in Nepali: साना किसान विकास लघुवित्त वित्तिय संस्था लिमिटेड) was established in 2001 as an apex microfinance bank emerged to provide extensive credit along with the technical support services mostly to the Small Farmers Agriculture Cooperatives Limited (SFACLs) and related types.
SKBLBL is integrated under the Company Act and licensed by the Bank and Financial Institutions Act (BAFIA) 2006 as a “D” class financial institution in Nepal. At this time, this bank has initiated providing entire credit to other cooperatives and Microfinance institutions (MFIs) too in order to accelerate access to micro-finance services for the low-income people particularly living in hills and mountains regions of the country.

The vision of Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittyasanstha Limited is to be a leading, financially viable, microfinance wholesale bank, owned by SFACLs and related rural MFIs, to significantly improve the quality of life of the rural poor.
