Overview
Thasang Rural Municipality (थासाङ गाउँपालिका) was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a Local government of Nepal. The office of the Thasang Gaunpalika (Rural Municipality) is located in Kobang, Mustang, Gandaki province of Nepal. Thasang Rural Municipality divided into five wards (Tukuche, Kobang, Lete, Ghasa, and Kenjo).
The total area of this rural municipality is 289 square kilometers and the total population is 2912. This rural municipality was formed under the local government operation act 2017 and formed by four VDCs ((Tukuche ward 1-7, Kobang, Lete, and Kenjo)). This rural municipality lies East of Gharapjhong Rural Municipality and Myagdi district, west of the Myagdi district, North of Baragau Muktishetra Rural Municipality, West of Myagdi district.
