Overview
Tripurasundari Municipality (त्रिपुरासुन्दरी नगरपालिका) is a local level government in Dolpa District, Karnali Province, Nepal. Its administrative centre is Tripurakot Bagar. The municipality was formed by merging the former Tripurakot, Su, Lha, Pahada and Liku Village Development Committees.

The population and household figures are based on the National Population and Housing Census 2021. The census records 12,233 people in Tripurasundari Municipality, including 6,080 males and 6,153 females, living in 2,622 households.
Tripurasundari Municipality came into existence during Nepal’s local-level restructuring process. On March 10, 2017, the government published the revised local restructuring report in the Nepal Gazette, replacing the former Village Development Committees and municipalities with new local units.
According to the municipality’s official profile, Tripurasundari is bordered by Thuli Bheri Municipality to the east, Jagdulla Rural Municipality and Mudkechula Rural Municipality to the west, Phoksundo Rural Municipality to the north, and West Rukum to the south.
Major rivers and streams in the municipality include the Thuli Bheri River, Chhalgad Khola, Chu Gad Khola, Karbagad Khola, Khatikholā, Palang Khola and Galli Khola.
