
Annapurna Rural Municipality, Myagdi, Rewards SEE Top Scorers and Athletes
Annapurna Rural Municipality in Myagdi has rewarded students who secured top grades in this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) conducted by the National Examination Board.
To encourage academic excellence, the municipality awarded each top-performing student NPR 24,000 in cash along with a certificate.
Three Students Honored for GPA Above 3.60
At a program held in the rural municipality’s center, Pokharebagar, three students who scored above a 3.60 GPA in SEE 2081 were honored.
According to Education Officer Ganesh Bahadur Katuwal, the awarded students were:

Lalita Khadka, Muktimarga Secondary School, Gharapokhara, GPA 3.80

Yuna Ramjali, Kailash Secondary School, Ward No. 1, GPA 3.71
-
Sujata Ramjali, Kailash Secondary School, GPA 3.65
The selection was made based on the municipality’s official procedure for recognizing outstanding students.

Annual Program to Continue in the Coming Years
Chairperson Bharat Kumar Pun stated that the rural municipality has been awarding top SEE performers with cash prizes for the past two years and will continue the program in the upcoming academic year.
Scholarship Program for Grade 11 Admissions
From the next fiscal year, the municipality will provide:

NPR 10,000 for students enrolling in general Grade 11 programs within municipal schools

NPR 15,000 for students enrolling in technical streams
This initiative aims to promote further education among SEE graduates.
Athletes Also Recognized for Excellence
The municipality also honored five student-athletes who won medals in the President Running Shield competitions at the provincial and national levels.

According to Education Officer Katuwal, the following students from Muktimarga Secondary School, Gharapokhara, were recognized:

All recipients were awarded certificates in addition to the cash prizes.
Overall SEE Performance
Education Section Coordinator Katuwal informed that 128 students from the rural municipality appeared for the SEE this year.
Out of them, 92 students passed the exam.
Notably, students from the technical stream achieved a 100% pass rate.
