Belauri Municipality Announces Two-Day School Holiday

Belauri Municipality, Kanchanpur, has declared a two-day school holiday due to the sharp rise in temperature. The decision was taken to prevent potential health impacts on teachers, students, and staff caused by excessive heat. Schools within the municipality will remain closed today and tomorrow.

Mayoral-Level Decision and Implementation

Municipal Mayor Poti Lal Chaudhary informed that the holiday has been declared based on a mayoral-level decision. He stated that the leave applies to both community and institutional schools across the municipality and will be adjusted with the monsoon vacation.

Impact of Rising Temperatures on Daily Life

With the rise in temperature, residents have been facing increasing difficulties in moving around outdoors. Public presence in markets and along highways during daytime hours has significantly decreased due to the heat.

Health Issues Prompt Medical Visits

Health workers have reported that many patients have been visiting health institutions due to problems caused by the heat. Common symptoms include dizziness, headaches, fever, and eye infections, which have been affecting a large number of people in the area.
