
Book ‘Mutuka Kura’ by Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi Launched
A new book titled Mutuka Kura (Matters of the Heart), written by senior cardiologist Prof. Prakash Raj Regmi, has been launched. The book was jointly unveiled by two children, Bishal Gajmer and Kalpana Tamang, who had recovered after undergoing open-heart surgery for rheumatic and congenital heart diseases.
The launch event was organized on the occasion of World Heart Day by Nepal NCD Alliance and Rotary Club of Patan.
Author’s Message
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Regmi shared that the book aims to raise public awareness about heart diseases. He explained that Mutuka Kura is based on his studies, professional experience, and feedback from patients, making it informative and practical.
“The content of this book will be both engaging and beneficial to readers,” he said, adding that it provides simple guidance for the general public, patients, and their families on how to maintain heart health through proper diet and lifestyle choices.
About the Book
Editor Laxman Adhikari highlighted that the book contains 61 sections covering key health topics related to daily life, including:

Dr. Regmi also announced that the proceeds from the book’s sales will be used for heart disease prevention initiatives.
