Call for Applications: Prestigious Awards by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal is proud to announce the call for submissions for its esteemed awards for the fiscal year 080/81. This initiative is aimed at recognizing and honoring the remarkable contributions of individuals and organizations in various cultural and literary fields. Interested applicants or organizations are invited to submit their applications or recommendations to the Culture Division of the Ministry within 30 days from the notice's publication date.
Awards and Eligibility Criteria:

Gopal Prasad Rimal National Award, 2080
- Poetry Award: Open to works in narrative, dramatic, lyric, songs, ghazals, and free verse.
- Drama Award: Literary works in drama and short drama genres are eligible.

Mahakavi Devkota Award, 2080
- Poetry: Includes all forms of poetry and verse.
- Essay: Welcomes essays, analytical criticism, and various forms of articles.
- Prose/Drama: Stories, novels, and plays are eligible.
- Children's/Folk Literature: Works for children, folklore research, and literature.
- Language and Literary Service: Recognizes service in language preservation and literature promotion.

Adikavi Bhanubhakta National Award, 2080
- Celebrates contributions in the poetry genre and research on Bhanubhakta Acharya's work.
Application Process:
Applicants must provide:
- Personal details including name, parentage, spouse's name (if applicable), and contact information.
- Biodata highlighting achievements.
- A copy of Nepali citizenship and Permanent Account Number.
- Details and copies of published works.
- Two passport size photographs.
- In case of unpublished works, other relevant materials showcasing talent.
- Bank account details.
- Recommendation letter (if applicable).
