Regarding Conducting Monitoring and Regulation

Although Section 8 of the Education Act, 2028 and Rule 31 of the Education Regulation provide that “Schools must implement curricula and textbooks approved by the Government of Nepal”, complaints have been received that some schools are using textbooks contrary to this provision. Requests have also been received to have such schools monitored.
Therefore, as per Rule 37 of the Education Regulation, 2059 (with amendments), you are requested, as per the instruction, to monitor schools and, if found to be acting contrary to the law, to take action and send the report to the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD - Shiksha Tatha Manav Vikas Kendra) at the email address cehrdcms@gmail.com.
Notice Regarding the Sikai Chautari Teacher Orientation Course
Informing that an online orientation course has been developed by CEHRD for teachers on Sikai Chautari (Learning Portal: https://learning.cehrd.gov.np), this notice is published to request all concerned that all teachers register as users on Sikai Chautari, complete the course and obtain the online certificate.
To facilitate teaching and learning, Sikai Chautari has been brought into operation by the Centre in an organized manner so that various materials can be obtained through a single portal. In this context, all Education Development and Coordination Units, local levels, and all community and institutional schools are requested to emphasize its use and to register at least 5 teachers from each school on the portal.
Teachers are also requested to provide necessary information to students and parents regarding the use of Sikai Chautari.
For further information and instructions regarding registration on Sikai Chautari and the teacher orientation course, it is informed that details have been placed on the Centre’s website www.cehrd.gov.np and on Sikai Chautari at learning.cehrd.gov.np.
Request to Local Levels to Form, Operate and Manage Girls and Inclusive Education Networks
For the formation, operation and management of Girls and Inclusive Education Networks, a budget of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand) each has been sent to 143 local levels designated as per the Program Implementation Procedure (PIP) for the current fiscal year 2082/083.
You are requested to act/ensure action on the basis of the points given below and to send the related information to reach the Inclusive Education Section of this Centre at inclusivedoe@gmail.com.
As follows:

To form the network at the local level in accordance with the Girls and Inclusive Education Network Standards and Strategy, 2080.

To convene meetings of the formed network at least 4 times a year.

To designate a focal person for the Girls and Inclusive Education Network.

To prepare and approve an annual work plan related to the network.

For the formation and operation of the network, the concerned local level shall make necessary arrangements from the allocated budget.

To enter information regarding the formation of the network in IEMIS as well.
Regarding Participant Details for the Orientation Program on the Digital Learning Portal

With reference to the subject, it is already known that the Sikai Chautari Digital Learning Portal https://learning.cehrd.gov.np is being operated under the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development to make school-level learning qualitative and effective.
To conduct a one-day online orientation program for school-level teachers on the use of the materials available on Sikai Chautari and on online capacity development, participant details are being collected through the Google link and QR code given below.
Therefore, you are requested to make arrangements for school-level teachers teaching from Early Childhood Education up to Grade 12 under your jurisdiction to fill in and submit the attached Google Form, and to extend necessary support and coordination for the collection of participant details and the development of the training participant portfolio.

Notice Regarding Submission of Queries
As per the approved annual program of CEHRD, in order to operate the program of the Curriculum Development Centre with teachers, you are requested to submit your respective queries by 2082 Mangsir 23 by using the attached Google Form link or by scanning the QR code, based on the subject areas mentioned in the schedule below.
It is also requested to note that the date and time for addressing the collected queries, along with the Google Meet link and QR code, will be communicated through the Centre’s website and via email to the persons submitting the queries.
