Lekhnath, Pokhara, 2082 Falgun 4 - The joint muktak collection ‘Damali Akshar’ by four Pokhara-based creators has been released.
At a program organized by Shabdalaya Pokhara, the work by Ishwormani Adhikari, Jivansagar Bhandari, Dipak Samip, and Laxman Thapa was unveiled.
The work was released by the creators’ spouses: Maiya Thapa, Rita Adhikari, Sharmila Shrestha, and Manju Adhikari Bhandari.
The book contains 160 muktaks in total, with 40 muktaks from each of the four muktak writers. The price of the work is Rs 333.
At the program, litterateur Sarubhakta said that the publication of the joint collection would add new energy to the younger generation. He said such collections add new inspiration to the development of Nepali muktak and help make muktak more popular.
