Nai Academy to Confer Nai Pragya Puraskar on 9 Professors

Kathmandu, 2082 Falgun 3. Nai Academy has decided to confer the ‘Nai Pragya Puraskar’ on nine professors from India for their distinctive contributions to the teaching and research of Nepali language and literature, as well as for enhancing the stature of the ‘Nepal–India University Professors Conference’.

The award amount is Rs 50 thousand per person.

Those to be honored with the award are:

• Prof. Dr. Kavita Lama

• Prof. Dr. Krishnaraj Ghatani

• Dr. Tekbahadur Chhetri

• Prof. Dr. Dibakar Pradhan

• Dr. Daivakidevi Timsina

• Prof. Dr. Pushpa Sharma

• Dr. Rajkumar Chhetri

• Prof. Dr. Sanjay Rai, and Dr. Aruna Rai (joint)

The decision was made by a meeting held under the chairpersonship of Nai Academy Chancellor Indira Prasai.
