SEE 2081: Zero Results from 3 Schools in Kanchanpur
Three schools in Kanchanpur district recorded zero results in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of the academic year 2081, according to the Education Development and Coordination Unit (EDCU) of Kanchanpur.
According to statistics released by the National Examination Board last Friday, two schools in Punarbas Municipality and one school in Laljhadi Rural Municipality reported zero results in SEE 2081, confirmed EDCU Kanchanpur Chief Laxman Giri.
Sharda Secondary School in Laljhadi Rural Municipality had zero results. Out of 36 examinees from this school, none passed the SEE, said Siddharaj Bhatt, Chief of the Education Section at the rural municipality.
SEE Participation in Laljhadi Rural Municipality
-
A total of 260 students from eight schools (both public and private) in Laljhadi participated in SEE 2081.

Factors Behind Zero Results
Principal Romakanta Upadhyay of Sharda Secondary School stated that most students struggled, particularly in English and Mathematics.
He cited a shortage of subject teachers and additional challenges as the leading causes behind the school's poor performance.
He emphasized the need for improvements from all sides—teachers, parents, and students alike.
Situation in Punarbas Municipality
Punarbas Municipality has 26 schools, including both community and institutional schools.
According to Shivraj Bhatt, Head of the Education Section at the municipality, students from two schools—Shanti Secondary School in Ward No. 1, Anshuwar Basti, and Rambuddha Secondary School in Puraena—failed to pass the SEE exam.

17 students appeared from Shanti Secondary School
-
11 students appeared from Rambuddha Secondary School
-
None of them passed the exam
Concerns from Parents and Locals
Following the zero-result outcome, some parents accused teachers of being more involved in politics than in teaching.
Local resident Hari Bik from Punarbas stated that teachers should focus more on education than on political activities.
