Kathmandu University Announces Applications for 32nd Convocation (First Phase)

Kathmandu University (KU), located in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok, has invited applications from eligible graduates to participate in its 32nd Convocation Ceremony (First Phase).

According to the notice issued by the university's Acting Registrar, the convocation ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, Mangsir 29, 2083 BS (December 15, 2026).

Students wishing to participate in the ceremony must submit their applications online.

Eligibility Criteria and Eligible Schools

According to the university, students who have completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master's or Bachelor's degree programmes by Mangsir 1, 2083 BS (November 17, 2026) are eligible to participate in the convocation ceremony.

The notice applies to graduates from the following seven schools:

1. School of Arts

2. School of Education

3. School of Engineering

4. School of Law

5. School of Management

6. School of Science

7. School of Medical Sciences

Application Procedure and Deadline

Eligible graduates must submit their applications according to the following arrangements:

• Application Period: From Kartik 19 to Mangsir 9, 2083 BS (November 5 to 25, 2026).

• Application Method: Students must complete the online application form through the university's official convocation portal, convocation.ku.edu.np.

• Required Documents and Fee Payment: Applicants must submit the bank voucher confirming payment of the convocation fee and the required supporting documents along with their application form through the same online portal.

Kathmandu University has stated that detailed information regarding the convocation ceremony programme will be published later.

The university has also announced that information concerning the next phase of the convocation ceremony will be communicated separately at a later date.
