Koshi Province releases promotion recommendation list

Biratnagar, February 10, 2026 [2082-10-27 (BS)]. 

The Promotion Committee Secretariat of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Koshi Province, has published a recommendation list for promotions to various posts under the local government service.

As per the committee’s decision dated 2082-10-26 (BS), candidates on the merit list have been recommended through performance evaluation.

This notice has been published for the purpose of Section 39 of the Local Government Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2080 (BS).

• Recommendations for Officer Level 7 posts under local-level engineering and administration services

• Details of advertisements/notices for which no applications were received, as per previously published notices of the Koshi Province Lok Sewa Aayog

Recommendations published

• Under Notice No. 131(5)/2082-83, Local Engineering Service, Civil Group, Officer Level 7, 1 vacant post: Baijnath Prasad Yadav, who obtained a total of 97.00 marks, has been recommended for Sirijangha Rural Municipality, Taplejung.

• Under Notice No. 131(9)/2082-83, Local Administration Service, Accounts Group, Officer Level 7, 1 vacant post: Chetanath Kattel, who obtained a total of 100.00 marks, has been recommended for Rangeli Municipality, Morang.

No applications received

Under Province Public Service Commission Notice No. 131/2082-083 (dated 2082-06-27 (BS)), no candidate applications were received for Promotion Notice No. 6/082-83 and Promotion Notice No. 7/082-83.
