Kutidanda Secondary School Offers Bus Service for Students
Kutidanda Secondary School in Bhimeshwar Municipality-7 has brought a welcome change for its students — a brand-new bus service. The school received the bus as a gift from the Indian Embassy and officially launched the service on Wednesday in a special program.
Making Student Travel Easier
Speaking at the inauguration, former Minister for Culture and Tourism Anand Prasad Pokharel said the bus will make daily travel much easier for students, especially those who come from faraway villages.
He added that better transportation will not only save time and effort but also help improve the overall quality of education in community schools.
Support from Local Leaders
Bhimeshwar Mayor Ishwar Narayan Manandhar shared that three community schools in the municipality now have bus services. He said such efforts will make community schools stronger and encourage parents to send their children there.
Although government investment in education is rising, student numbers in community schools are still declining — a challenge he hopes the bus service will help address.
Ward Chairperson Binod Tamang also highlighted that the bus will make education more accessible for children from disadvantaged families and ensure safer, more reliable travel.
Better Access, Brighter Future
Until now, students relied on public transport to get to school as the campus is located by the highway. The new bus has removed that burden, giving parents peace of mind and students a safer, more comfortable commute.
Kutidanda Secondary School teaches from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and currently has around 400 students. The school hopes the new bus service will attract more students and give every child in the community a better chance at quality education.
