Many Colleges Running BCA Programs Without Approval:

Half a dozen colleges are running BCA programs without affiliation approval from Tribhuvan University. According to Tribhuvan University (TU) sources, Everest College, Kantipur College of Technology, Aberdeen College, Himalayan College of Engineering, Ramnath College, Youth College, and others have conducted the program without approval.

The decision to allow these colleges to run the program was taken in 2075 BS. It is unclear what the future holds for these colleges after the affiliation of the youth colleges was canceled. Although some colleges have now asked for approval, TU has not given it. Prof. Dr. Ridish Pokharel, Head of the TU Planning Directorate, said, "Letters have been received from some colleges now.

"In 2075 BS, it was decided to give sanction to 116 colleges for conducting BCA program. Among them was the Youth College. However, he did not take the letter. We usually deliver the letter within one year of the decision of the Executive Council. After one year, we will give the letter only with the opinion of the dean's office. Even now, we had given the letter of affiliation with the opinion of the dean's office. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The decision letter of the executive council dismissing the affiliation of the youth college has come. There are half a dozen other colleges that have not yet received the decision".
