Paid Cybersecurity Internships: Purbanchal University and Resecurity MoU
Under Purbanchal University, IT Computer Engineering students will be able to undertake paid internships across all areas of cybersecurity. This follows a Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Engineering at Purbanchal University and Resecurity, a Los Angeles, USA-based company.
Agreement Parties and Context
The agreement was reached between Dean: Bhola Nath Ghimire of the Faculty of Engineering and Business Head (Resecurity): Rajan Raj Pant.
The signing took place in the presence of Vice-Chancellor: Prof. Dr. Biju Kumar Thapaliya, other university officials, and Managing Director (Hillside College of Engineering): Gopi Krishna Neupane. Hillside College of Engineering teaches Computer Engineering and BIT under Purbanchal University affiliation.
Internship Scope and Support
The MoU enables IT Computer Engineering students to join paid internships covering all cybersecurity domains at Resecurity. The company will also provide training to faculty members and share knowledge on newly developed technologies in cybersecurity, alongside other support beneficial to the university.

Business Head Rajan Raj Pant stated that Resecurity requires a large number of IT professionals and that students studying IT will gain the opportunity to work while they study. He clarified that the company signed the MoU with Purbanchal University with the aim of producing skilled human resources who can be marketable in the global IT industry.

Dean Bhola Ghimire noted that Purbanchal University has prepared curricula for various IT-related programs that encompass not only engineering but also science and technology and the field of cyber law. He remarked that this MoU will serve as a milestone for curriculum implementation and emphasized that basic IT knowledge is necessary regardless of the program of study.
He expressed happiness that, in the current context of data security, an understanding has been reached with Resecurity, a prestigious U.S. company. He added that students wishing to utilize this opportunity can contact the colleges where IT programs are being taught, and necessary facilitation has been arranged.
