Kathmandu, February 21, 2026 [2082-11-09 (BS)] — Nai Academy has decided to confer the Nai Pragya Award on 12 professors for their dedication to teaching, research, and the creative promotion of Nepali language and literature, as well as for contributing to the enhancement of the Nepal–India University Professors Conference.
Each award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

Decision-Making Meeting
Prasai said the decision was made at a meeting chaired by Nai Academy Chancellor Mrs. Indira Prasai.
Conference Schedule and Presentation of Awards
Nai Academy is set to organize a three-day Nepal–India University Professors Conference under the top academic leadership of Chief Critic Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi.
The conference will be held on April 10, 11, and 12, 2026 [2082-12-27, 2082-12-28, and 2082-12-29 (BS)], and the Nai Pragya Awards will be conferred on this occasion.
