The Nai Kapil Vidya Medal, each carrying a cash prize of thirty thousand rupees, has been conferred on Ms. Sumitra Budha, Ms. Saumati Shahi, Ms. Pratiksha Bista and Ms. Ishara Kottari of Dolpa, Humla, Bajura and Darchula districts.
Member Secretary of Nai Academy, Narendra Raj Prasai, informed that the prize money was provided to all four students through online transfer. According to him, these students from the four remote districts have been declared the best for the year 2082 B.S.
Among girl students of Grade 12 from government schools in the four districts, the best are awarded the Nai Kapil Vidya Medal. The students declared best are from Adarsha School in Dolpa, Manasarovar School in Humla, Janaprakash School in Bajura and Latinath School in Darchula.
Since 2079 B.S., Nai Academy has been annually presenting the Nai Kapil Vidya Medal in honour of renowned psychiatrist Dr. Kapil Dev Upadhyaya.
