NAMC Calls Applications for BAMS Licensing Exam

The Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council has published a notice inviting online applications for the licensing examination related to permanent registration.
According to the notice, applicants who have passed the BAMS degree and completed six months of internship will be eligible to take part in the examination. The licensing examination is scheduled to be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 (2082/12/30 BS).
Interested candidates may fill out the online form with the regular fee from March 19, 2026 (2082/12/5 BS) to April 2, 2026 (2082/12/19 BS). Those who miss the regular deadline may still apply by paying a late fee from April 3, 2026 (2082/12/20 BS) to April 11, 2026 (2082/12/28 BS). Applicants must complete the online form through exam.namc.gov.np.
The Council has set a separate rule for those who studied outside Nepal. Applicants who completed BAMS studies abroad will be allowed to apply for the examination only after completing one year of internship, as clearly stated in the notice.
