Government of Nepal: National Botanical Award 2081 Notice
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Forests and Environment, Department of Plant Resources, Thapathali, Kathmandu। With the objective of honoring individuals who have made commendable contributions to the country’s social, economic, and environmental development through the conservation, promotion, and sustainable use of plant resources, and to recognize those who have made significant contributions to the identification, study, research, and technology development related to plant diversity, this Department has established the “National Botanical Award” of NPR 200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand).
This National Botanical Award will be conferred on Botanical Day, on 2082 Chaitra 29 (B.S.). Therefore, to identify and honor a qualified individual for this award, eligible Nepali citizens may submit an application either personally or through a representative. Likewise, individuals or institutions may recommend a suitable person.
Applications are invited to be received within 30 days from the date of first publication of this notice, either at the Department of Plant Resources, Thapathali, Kathmandu, or via email at info@dpr.gov.np.
Applicants are requested to fill out and submit the application form and the prescribed format for personal details available on the Department’s official website (www.dpr.gov.np) and submit them through the concerned individual or institution.
