Nepal Investment Mega Bank Provides Support to School in Tanahun
Nepal Investment Mega Bank has extended support to a local school as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
After learning that classes were disrupted due to roof damage caused by a windstorm last Jestha, the bank spent NPR 100,000 to install a new tin roof at Meen Secondary School, located in Tharpu, Myagde Rural Municipality–4, Tanahun.
According to Principal Rajendra Bhandari, a new roof was installed on the school’s 12-room building using a truss structure. The building previously had a stone roof.
However, due to the potential risk of accidents from continuing with the old design, the stone roof was replaced with a safer and more durable tin roof, he explained.
