Nepali Team Leaves for Switzerland to Participate in ‘Robotics for Good Youth Challenge 2026’
Nepal’s junior and senior national robotics teams have left for Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the international final of the “AI for Good – Robotics for Good Youth Challenge 2026,” organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the United Nations.
The team, led by the Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN), is mainly sponsored by Ncell, ACA-MIT College, and United School.
The competition, scheduled to be held from July 7 to 11, 2026, will feature leading youth robotics teams from around the world. Nepal will compete in both the junior and senior categories.
The details of the Nepali team selected on the basis of outstanding performance in this year’s national selection competition are as follows:
Junior Team

Robotics Association of Nepal Treasurer Kunal Sah is serving as the manager of this team.
For this international competition journey, Ncell is the main sponsor, while United School is the education partner and ACA-MIT College is the IT education partner.
Nepal had delivered an outstanding performance in the same competition last year, winning the silver medal, or second position, in the junior category and the bronze medal, or third position, in the senior category. In addition, Nepal has already demonstrated its capability globally by receiving various awards and honors in other international competitions, including the “FIRST Global Challenge.”
Robotics Association of Nepal President Er. Bikash Gurung requested the entire Nepali community to wish the team success and to inspire Nepali youth to compete at the global level.
