Purbanchal University Approves Rs 1.70 Billion Budget for FY 2082/83

Purbanchal University, in its 41st Senate Meeting held on Tuesday, approved a total budget of Rs 1.70 billion 14 lakh 30 thousand for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Baluwatar, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli.

Registrar Presented Annual Income–Expenditure Plan

The proposed income and expenditure statement for FY 2082/83, presented by Registrar Prof. Dr. Kalyani Mishra Tripathi, was approved during the session.

Vice Chancellor Presented Annual Policy and Program

The university’s policy and program for the coming year, presented by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bijukumar Thapaliya, was also passed in the meeting.

A key priority in the upcoming fiscal year is the upgradation of the university’s teaching hospital and the initiation of the MBBS program.

With Prime Minister Oli's proactive leadership, all university senate meetings are being held before the beginning of the new fiscal year, ensuring the timely approval of budgets across the higher education sector.
