National Examination Board to Announce SEE Supplementary (Grade Increment) Results by Third Week of Ashoj 2081
The National Examination Board is set to announce the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Supplementary (Grade Increment) by the third week of Ashoj. According to the Examination Control Office for Grade 10, the results will be published before Dashain.
Nandalal Paudel, the Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, stated that the answer sheets are currently being collected after the completion of evaluations. The answer sheets were evaluated at 34 centers, including three within the Kathmandu Valley. Although scores have been received from many centers, some centers have faced delays in submitting the answer sheets and scores due to adverse weather conditions.
The Board aims to publish the results in a manner that will not affect the registration process for Grade 11. According to the Board’s annual calendar, the deadline for submitting Grade 11 registration forms is set for Kartik 15.
For those who miss the initial deadline, the late registration period extends until Kartik 30. Although the exact start date for form submission is not specified in the annual calendar, it is customary to allow one month for this process. The Board is working to ensure that the results are published before the form submission period ends, according to Paudel.
In the SEE of 2080, students who participated as regular candidates but failed to obtain grades or were absent from the exams were allowed to take the Grade Increment examination. Initially, the Grading Directive 2068 permitted only those students who received an NG in two subjects to sit for the Grade Increment examination. However, the directive was amended to allow all students who were absent or non-graded in the exam to participate.
Out of the 234,000 students who received an NG, only 209,804 participated in the Grade Increment examination.
