Shivshakti Secondary School Celebrates 67th Anniversary
Pokhara, Magh 10, 2082 — The 67th anniversary, Parents’ Day, and prize distribution ceremony of Shivshakti Secondary School, located in Phulbari, Pokhara–11, was held on Friday.
The ceremony, organized in the school premises, was inaugurated by Pokhara Metropolitan City–11 Ward Chairperson and chief guest Prem Prasad Karmacharya.
Program Leadership and Guests
The program was held under the chairpersonship of School Management Committee Chairperson Ravindranath Bastola. The distinguished guest was the school’s former chairperson and a candidate for Member of the House of Representatives from Kaski Constituency No. 2 (Nepali Congress), Madhav Prasad Bastola “Madhu”.
Annual Progress Report and Endowment Fund
During the ceremony, Principal Bal Krishna Bastola presented the annual progress report.
On the same occasion, chief guest Ward Chairperson Karmacharya established an endowment fund of Rs 105,555 for the school.
Awards, Scholarships, and Recognitions
Under the “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” category, Bishnumaya Sapkota was honored, while Sushila Bik was recognized as the “Outstanding Parent”.
Teachers who ensured 100 percent student pass results in subject-wise outcomes were rewarded. Likewise, scholarships and prizes were distributed to students who performed excellently in various categories.
Farewell and Felicitations
On the occasion, former School Management Committee Chairperson Damodar Bastola was given a respectful farewell. Lower secondary level teacher Surya Prasad Timilsina was also bid farewell.
Goodwill Messages and Program
At the ceremony, goodwill remarks were delivered by Education Officer Krishna Bhandari, Shivshakti Campus Chief Chandrakant Regmi, former Principal Shambhuraj Bastola, former chairperson Damodar Bastola, and parent Roshni Ramtel, among others.
Students presented various cultural performances during the event. The program was conducted by teacher Prakash Paudel. The school’s accountant Harishchandra Bastola provided information about the program.
