The Education Development Directorate, Madhesh Province has asked teacher Anil Kumar Yadav to submit a clarification explaining why he should not be removed from service, after he was found to have been absent from school for a long time. Issuing an urgent notice, the directorate has given Yadav a seven-day deadline to present his clarification.
Anil Kumar Yadav, a permanent teacher at the primary level, third class, at Shree Janajagriti Nepal National Basic School (Signal No. 155904), has been found absent from the school without notice since 2078/08/26. The notice states that he did not report for duty even after the school repeatedly sent official letters.
The Education Development and Coordination Unit, Kalaiya, Bara, through its letter dated 2082/10/06 (Ch. No. 729), has recommended that he be removed from service. The directorate has proceeded with disciplinary action in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Education Act, 2028 (with amendments) and the Education Regulations, 2059 (with amendments).
According to the published notice, within seven days from the date of publication of this notice, teacher Yadav must submit a clarification with evidence if he has any valid reason why he should not be removed from service. It has been stated that if no clarification is received within the specified time, action will be taken as per the law.
