Tribhuvan University Suspends All Examinations, New Schedule to Be Published by Bhadra 20
Kathmandu — Tribhuvan University has suspended all examinations in view of the natural disaster caused by flooding. The Office of the Registrar issued an extremely urgent notice on 2083 Bhadra 12 announcing the decision.
The University took the step considering the natural disaster caused by the severe flood that occurred on Bhadra 10 in the Rasuwagadhi Bhotekoshi River and downstream areas of Rasuwa district. According to the notice, the decision to suspend the examinations was made under Decision No. 88 of the Tribhuvan University Executive Council meeting held on Bhadra 12.
Following the decision, all examinations being conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, and the concerned Dean’s Offices have been suspended.
When Will the New Examination Schedule Be Published?
According to the notice issued by Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. Mahananda Chalise, the revised examination schedules for the suspended examinations will be published by 2083 Bhadra 20.
The University stated that the new schedules will be published by the Central Examination Conducting Committee and the respective Examination Conducting Committees under the institutes and faculties.
